The simplest way to install PrettyMap properly is to download and run the automatic installer:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To install PrettyMap manually:

1. PrettyMap application (PrettyMap.prc) can be installed either into
your Palm main memory or onto a card, as you prefer. Use HotSync,
IR, Bluetooth or your favorite file manager to copy the file.

2. Maps (*.pmap files) should be stored on a card in the following
   directory:
    /PALM/Programs/PrettyMap/
This directory is automatically created on a card once you run PrettyMap.
If you don't have a card, you can use a RamDisk program to store maps.
Multiple cards and slots can be used for map files. For raster maps, fast cards
are recommended, as card access time affects drawing speed.

3. Graphics styles (the "gfx" subdirectory) should also be copied to a card, to
    /PALM/Programs/PrettyMap/gfx
